What foundation is your life is built upon? Is it sinking sand or the solid rock? When the rain, strong winds and heavy storms come, will you be able to remain standing firm in your faith?

Our worship time this Sunday will focus on Matthew 7:21-29. Jesus Christ tells us the one who listens to him and acts on his words is wise, like the person who builds their house on a firm foundation.

More often than not, our priorities center around social status, wealth, acquiring material possessions, wearing the most current designer label and worrying about our reputations. The pursuit of such values can lead to much worry and anxiety. Our worship this Sunday will center around Matthew 6:24-34, where we find encouragement to trust in God's care for us. May we not be so preoccupied with getting so that we can respond to God's giving.

This Sunday at 5:00pm, our worship will focus on one of the most important holidays of the Christian church - Pentecost - the great festival that occurs fifty days after the resurrection of Jesus Christ and marks the birth of the Christian church by the power of the Holy Spirit.
