We will observe the second Sunday of Lent as we gather at the Ministry Incubator at 5:00 p.m. Our worship time will center around Genesis 9:8-17, a reminder to us that God is a covenanting God and we are covenant people.

Due to the winter weather warning and the uncertainty of when the sleet / snow will arrive, HomeStar will NOT be meeting for worship on Sunday, March 1, 2009. We will gather back at the Ministry Incubator next Sunday at 5:00 p.m.

On Ash Wednesday, we began the 40 day period known as Lent, a time of repentance, preparation and reflection as we journey towards the cross and Easter resurrection. As we gather for the first Sunday in Lent, our worship time will center around Genesis 9:8-17, a reminder to us that God is a covenanting God and we are covenant people.

Please be aware that weather conditions on Sunday may affect our gathering. If the weather conditions warrant cancellation of our gathering, those on the mailing list will receive an e-mail or phone notification from Jan Cartledge.

We will gather at the Ministry Incubator this Sunday at 5:00 p.m.Our worship time will center around spiritual gifts, focusing on scripture passages from
1 Corinthians 12, Romans 12, Ephesians 4 and 1 Peter 4.

We will also be sharing our personal findings based on the spiritual gifts inventories we completed this week.
